Despite the exotic locations of their stores, this company is definitely a Diamond District jeweler. Essentially, that means they are willing to "deal" so to speak. If you buy jewelry with the same negotiating skills you'd bring to a car lot, you're going to get a better deal than you would at a local jeweler. If you step off a cruise ship thinking the advertised price is the REAL price, you're going to pay too much. I've seen many complaints from people who bought Diamonds International jewelry from an island and complain later because it appraised for less at home. We've never had that happen and in fact, it's been the opposite. Considering the volume of business they do, I think the experiences with DI that my wife and I have had are more indicative of what most people have - which is very positive. Unfortunately, the wheels that need grease squeak the loudest, so of course those who think buying from a jeweler is a "no haggle" affair are the ones left complaining. I don't know about their website, but I do know that they have coupon codes all over the place, so there's another reason not to pay the advertised price. Anyway, we love shopping at DI on the cruises because we've always gotten more for our money than we could have in PA.
