Official Rules And RegulationsThe following rules and regulations apply to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Sweepstakes offered by Macy's East, Macy's West, Burdines-Macy's, Bon-Macy's, Rich's-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's, Goldsmith's-Macy's, and macys.com. A total of six (6) grand prizes will be awarded. One grand prize as described further below awarded by each of the following sponsors: Macy's East (1), Macy's West (1), Burdines-Macy's (1), Rich's-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's, Goldsmith's-Macy's (1), Bon-Macy's (1), and macys.com (1). In-store entry:In-store promotion for Macy's East, Macy's West, Rich's-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's, Goldsmith-Macy's, Bon-Macy's begins January 19 and ends on February 7, 2005. To enter: Fill out the in-store entry form available in the Home Store. Only one entry per person, please. No in-store promotion or entry for Burdines-Macy's. Florida residents may enter by picking up entry form in-store and mailing your completed entry form to Events Marketing Director — Burdines-Macy's, 22 E. Online Entry:To enter fill out the online entry form available on macys.com Online promotion for all Macy's divisions begins on January 19 and ends at 11:59pm EDT on February 7, 2005. Online entries will be entered to win one (1) of the six (6) sweepstakes grand prizes. Online entries for Burdines-Macy's will be entered to win one (1) of the (6) grand prizes. Sponsors are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, garbled, damaged, illegible or otherwise deficient or incompletely received for any reason. Sponsors also not responsible for any typographical or other errors in offer, administration of the award or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or otherwise acting in violation of the rules. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including by reason of any tampering, unauthorized intervention or force majeure. Winners will be selected in random drawings for each of the six (6) grand prizes. The winners will be selected on or about February 14, 2005. All the decisions of the Sponsors are final. For each of the six (6) grand prizes to be awarded: Each winner who complies with these Official Rules will receive: A certificate entitling winner to single double occupancy stateroom onboard a Royal Caribbean International® seven (7) night European sailing. The prize shall be awarded only to an adult (at least 21 years of age). That adult may hereinafter be referred to as the "Recipient". Recipient will be free to choose from any available inside stateroom (Categories Q through K). Recipient may bring one (1) guest to occupy the 2nd berth in the stateroom provided that such guest and the Recipient satisfy Royal Caribbean's applicable minimum age requirements and guest provides liability release prior to ticketing. Recipient and guest each must have valid travel documents required by applicable law, regulation or cruise line policy (such as a Passport). Prize includes ship accommodations, ocean transportation, most meals, some beverages, and most entertainment aboard the vessel. Prize does not include any government taxes or fees (including but not limited to any income taxes due on the prize or any sales taxes) nor any items of a personal nature (including, but not limited to, shore excursions, gratuities, some beverages, photographs, service fees and medical services); these expenses are the sole responsibility of the Recipient. The Cruise also does not include meals for which an extra charge is assessed, such as specialty restaurants. Winners shall be required to accept booking instructions and all terms and conditions of use that are listed on cruise certificate, which include, but are not limited to the following: cruise must be booked at least 45 days prior to sailing and sailing must be completed by October 15, 2005. Certificate not good for holiday, or inaugural sailings. Travel will be subject to availability and certain blackout dates will apply. Cruise may not be upgraded and is not transferable and may not be given, bartered, sold, or exchanged for cash or another prize, except at Royal Caribbean's sole discretion. No individual (that is, prize winner or guest) under 21 will be booked in a cabin unless accompanied by an adult 25 years or older, except for married couples with one spouse under 21 of age. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Other restrictions may apply. If only one person sails, the Recipient will not receive compensation for the difference in value from the stated approximate retail value of such prize. The Cruise shall be subject to Royal Caribbean's then current rules and regulations, including but not limited to, age restrictions and the obligation to sign the passenger cruise ticket contract. The prizes shall be non-transferable and shall have no cash value. Approximate prize value: $5,798. Note: European cruises are between May 15th and November 6th. Macy's East, Macy's West, Burdines-Macy's, Bon-Macy's, Rich's-Macy's, Lazarus-Macy's and Goldsmith's-Macy's will fly the winners to and from cruise departure/arrival port. Grand prize winners will not be present at the time of drawing. Grand prize winners must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility within fourteen (14) days of notification or an alternative winner may be selected. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner's name and likeness for editorial advertising, publicity and television broadcast purposes without further compensation except when prohibited. All entries become property of the Sponsor(s) and will not be acknowledged or returned. If an email address is provided on entry form, entrant confirms and acknowledges that he/she 1) is over the age of 13; 2) has read the macys.com privacy policy (http://www.whatsyourdeal.com/forums/Macys-coupon.html) and 3) is granting Macy's permission to utilize the email address provided to send marketing messages. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received in the sweepstakes entered.
