Whoa, on second thought, ignore that link. I did some checking on review sites and this place is apparently a bait-and-switch kind of nightmare.

I just looked at the link you posted.. and if you look and read it carefully it says "Shown with optional lens". So this is the body only. It looks like Amazon has a good deal on it for $1399 - $100 rebate = $1299 and it comes with the lens.

Actually, that usaphotonation place is a serious scam. For instance: http://shopping.yahoo.com/merchratin...ant_id=1026970. The scam basically goes like this: you place and order and then they send you an email and say you have to call in, so you do and they start asking you if you want to purchase "accessories" to go with your camera, like a battery, camera strap, and other things that are normally included with the regular package. Then, they tell you that if you want it in less than 8 weeks, you need to order the US version (because they are selling gray market product on the site), which usually costs like twice as much. Apparently if you cancel at that point, they have been known to charge over 10% of the original price on your credit card. Terrible BBB ratings, etc. Bad, bad place. There are a few sites just like them based in the same area of NYC, too.

ANYway, thanks for the link. Amazon does have a good deal on this. I actually don't need the lens because I'm upgrading from the Digitial Rebel and already have the lens here. I probably will wind up going with Amazon on the camera. Thanks
