XM or Sirius??? A little help please

I want to get a satellite radio package that I can use in my car and at home. I don't have any experience with either XM or Sirius, so was just wondering what others opinions are on the 2 services and what hardware do I need to use the same receiver in my car and at home? Thanks

I have sirius satelite radio..the kit I have is the ACT Home reciever kit with the car kit included...works great...13.95 a month for the service. The car kit works with a FM signal sent to your radio (which is static free sound).kit cost me about 119.00 but I bought it about year ago so maybe the price could have gone down. Sirius has great radio stations,almost anything to listen to,used to have XM radio in the car since the service was free in my purchase of the vechicle..It was okay but to me sirius is more enjoyable....Hope I was some help!!

I have a Sirius S50, which is a portable "mp3 player" and comes with a car-dock. It doesn't get the Sirius signal when it's not docked, but it acts like a TIVO and records up to 50 hours of programing when it's docked, so you can take it on the go. I also picked up two home-dock units, so I can listen live in my car, my bedroom, and my office. Love it!

i have XM. love it love it love it - the proudct that is. customer service is not so great... takes a few phone calls to get things that aren't working working. but once it's going, it's fabulous!
