You are correct it is interpolated. And you are also right in saying you get what you pay for. But for $107 this is a great deal on an 12 MP interpolated Digital Camera.

For anyone who doesn't know what Interpolation is, here's a nice site with all the details.

What the camera does is guess what should be in the pixels that it captures, causing for blurrier images when increasing the resolution.

I suppose this is a good deal, since the same camera seems to show up elsewhere for over $200.

But I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot-pole.

Interpolated, NO real Zoom. I would rather spend $120 on a nice 3mp with 3x optical zoom, maybe that has a brand name also.
