There is a great deal at Tracfone. I have been customer for 5 yrs there. You pay $89.99 for a years activation and you get a FREE NOKIA 1100 phone and 150 minutes with the plan. If you send me your email address I can send a REFERRAL that gives you 100 EXTRA BONUS MINUTES.
You get FREE CALLER ID and VOICEMAIL- and NO ROAMING CHARGES ( older phones charged you 2 minutes if you ROAMED outside area- but not this one)
I use my phone like a VOICEMAIL /PAGER most times. I just call the person back from a landline. I can also answer if i choose- Great if you are meeting someone and cannot find them.
Since minutes are limited - this is not the best phone if you want to gab a lot.

There are NO CREDIT CHECKS since it is prepaid. You cannot run up a bill because minutes are PREPAID.

UNUSED MINUTES will ROLLOVER if service remains active (60 day grace period if you forget to renew in time- and you still keep your minutes)
Other companies may be a little cheaper but MINUTES DO NOT ROLLOVER in all that I have checked. I have researched this thouroughly and it is the best deal for CHEAP CELL PHONE available. It comes out to $7.50 per month.
I also have my home phone set to forward to my TRACFONE if busy or no answer. So if i am on WEB it goes to my cel. You can use is like CALLNOTES for your home phone ( CALLNOTES is VOICEMAIL PROVIDED BY MA BELL for $8 per month in most places)
THey also have better coverage than mostly ALL THE PROVIDERS
Not sure this deal is available in all zip codes.

Yes- If you refer a friend you get 100 minutes and they get 100 minutes too if they sign up and activate within 30 day period.
