Net Detective is a really good product if the person you are searching for is well established. I had difficulty locating one person who is a roomate with other people. I think this person has not lived long enough at that address for Net Detective to be effective. Also, Net detective is contrained by state laws, so if you are searching for criminal records in a state which charges for the information, Net detective does not seem to be very effective in this area. It does however, give good listings for sex offenders.
The most positive thing about Net detective is that you can search across multiple states with multiple search types without endless searching for information. If the information is available, Net Detective seems to always display it..very conveniently. For convenience alone, I would say it is worth it.
