You can get some great hotel deals at priceline.com. Here's what I did, I needed to stay in Atlanta, Ga on short notice, So I put in a bid for a ridiculously low price ($50) when all the hotels were going for $179 and up (it was Downtown Atlanta) and I got it for $50!! It was at the Hilton. When I looked up the rate for it anywhere else it was going for $189. Now the deal with priceline is you can't choose the hotel, but the area. But you can select the level of hotel you want to, by stars, so you can guarantee you get the level of hotel you want or better. Oh yeah, when I bid I put in for 2 1/2 stars and they upgraded me to 3 for free to give me the Hilton!!
