 Laptop computer batteries recalled for Dell, HP, Toshiba The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported a recall of notebook batteries manufactured by Sony for Dell, HP, and Toshiba computers. The problem batteries were sold in 2004 and 2005. According to the CPSC, the lithium-ion batteries can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
